The Cotswolds – The popular and picturesque area of the Cotswolds is a favourite with holidaymakers. The tranquil villages full of pretty Cotswold stone buildings make up this region. Gloucester – The city of Gloucester is a great base if you want a convenient place to live in the county, and you will also find lower house prices in this area. Gloucester is famous for the historic docks which is now home to the Quays outlet shopping centre as well as the other events that go on through the year.

Stroud – The Stroud district is a great place to live if you like to get away from the daily grind and enjoy an alternative or more bohemian lifestyle. You will find the largest farmers market in the south west here, as well as great independent shops and a range of community activities.
